The preceding flight from Sacramento to Salt Lake City went without indecent. Our arrival was at 8:50am from Sacramento and we had a little over than a 2-hour layover. Normally we would find an airport lounge somewhere and enjoy some quiet tie until our next flight. In Salt Lake City the only lounge is the habitually crowded Delta Sky Club, and so we decided to split our time and also have a leisurely breakfast at Cat Cora’s Kitchen restaurant.
Our plane parked at gate C3 and after disembarking it was a short walk over to the Salt Lake City Delta Sky Club lounge. The airport was busy and this seems to be the case most times when I’m transitioning through the Salt Lake City Airport. In the middle of the terminal all the different halls meet in a central location as you walk toward Terminal 2. The Delta Sky Club in located in the middle of this terminal, between the C and D concourses.
This post will review 2 separate flights in Delta domestic first class. Delta flight DL2366 Sacramento to Salt Lake City and DL1843 Salt Lake City to Boston.
I arrived at the Sacramento Airport parking garage and snagged a good spot on level 3 close to the pedestrian bridge. Lines at the security checkpoint were relatively long, but with TSA PreCheck it only took a few minutes to get airside.
